1. High rigidity, high precision structure
Structure frame is made of casting steel welded with thick steel plate. Major components of structure frame are designed based on detailed stress analysis and are locked tightly by strong tie rod. High rigidity of structure frame has significant contribution to the promotion of product precision stability and the life of die and die set.

2. Ultra strong eccentric loading capability
Design with twin con-rod drive has made the range of allowable eccentric loading much wider than conventional machines. In addition, the series products with slide structure made of box-type strong casting steel and with the lengthened guide gibs and guide plate made of high abrasive-resistance material can take eccentric load up to 80%-100% of full load.

3. Safe and fast-response die stick release device

The electrically controlled die stick release device with simple, easy and fast operation provided secure and reliable protection for dies.

Durable and reliable operability
Excellence in operability and maintainability
High torque transmission clutch & brake

Stamtec Cold Forging Press (KP Series, KT Series, KL Series, KW2 Series)

Knuckle-Joint 1-Point Press

For many components, cold or hot forging offers many production efficiencies. Part strength, integrity and material savings are just some of the benefits of producing parts on Stamtec forging presses, as opposed to more traditional machining operations.

The KP Series forging press is special designed for cold forging and is ideal for near net shape forming. The cold forge technology applies to the forming process of steel components without cutting its metal fibers and with stronger consistency strength given by a properly forging treatment.

Tonnage Range: 250-2000

Press Advantages
The slide is connected to the crankshaft by a linked knuckle mechanism whose weight is offset by the counterbalance. This mechanism transfers the revolution of the crankshaft to the up and down motion of the slide, achieving a mechanical advantage to supplies very high tonnage near the bottom of the stroke.

Many automation options are possible with Stamtec forging presses.

Standard Features
Near-net-sharp forming
Better mechanical characteristic
Superior plasticity
Good surface quality
Higher productivity

Transfer Presses

The transfer press was designed to run dies with very large dimensions both l-r and front to back. It can run progressive or transfer dies, running large, odd-shaped or deep-formed parts that require a transfer system to move the parts through the die. Stamtec will work with the transfer system provider of your choice (e.g. HMS, Wayne Trail, Linear, Gudel, Atlas), to completely integrate the transfer system with the press, feedline and other peripheral equipment as necessary.

The drive train is a low inertia, high torque eccentric geared drive system design featuring precision cut, steel-rim eccentric gears, plunger guiding, and double helical gearing for the drive shaft and intermediate gears, all lubricated by an enclosed oil bath and spray system.

S4 Series presses feature eccentric gear drive with plunger guides on each connection to control side thrust and deliver precision slide tracking throughout the stroke. All gear surfaces have been heat treated and finely ground to assure smooth operation and low noise levels.

Press Advantages
All gears are produced at CF Stamtec’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, using the most modern gear manufacturing equipment and strict quality control procedures. All large gears are balanced for smooth operation. The result is a press drive system that provides close running tolerances, prolonged life, and smooth, quiet operation.

This type of drive carries much higher torque loads than crankshaft style drives. In addition, no torsional force is transmitted to the main eccentric gear shafts, which helps to ensure precise slide movement. The stamping loads are transferred through the gear teeth and the connection straps, so pressure and wear on the bronze alloy bushings is reduced to a minimum.

The transfer press can run extremely large parts, or large dies with many stations, which can eliminate many secondary operations normally performed outside the press. When used as a transfer press, scrap savings of up to 17% may be achieved because a scrap skeleton is not necessary to move the parts through the die. Stamtec will work with the transfer system provider of your choice (e.g. HMS, Wayne Trail, Linear, Gudel, Atlas), to completely integrate the transfer system with the press, feedline and other peripheral equipment as necessary.

2 Point Straight Side Press (HSD Series)

The Stamtec HSD series double crank press was designed for The HSD Series is specifically designed for demanding high speed applications such as motor lamentation stamping.

The precision ground alloy steel crankshaft features wide connections closely supported by four bronze main bearings, easily handling long tools and off-center loading.

High precision eight-point roller bearing gibs guide the slide accurately through the entire stroke.

Press Advantages
The standard dynamic balancing device counterbalances the eccentric thrust generated from the crankshaft rotation and slide movement. This ensures reduced frame vibration, better stampings and longer die life.

Hydraulic slide adjustment locking device is standard. This eliminated clearances in the slide adjustment mechanism to reduce the effects of snap-through and assure consistent bottom dead center accuracy.

Plunger guides maintain the plunger and guide clearance, compensation for differences in expansion rates between crown and slide, resisting the front to back load created by the crankshaft rotation.
