2 Point Straight Side Press (S2 Series)

The Stamtec S2 double crank press was designed for stamping parts that require a large bed area to accommodate progressive or transfer dies, or large parts. Oftentimes, these types of operations require high tonnage, high flywheel energy, maximum frame or bed rigidity, or some combination thereof. The path of the slide is guided by (8) full-length 90ยบ gibs with nickel bronze wear plates, offering maximum control and a high degree of accuracy with ease of adjustment.

This press is different from others in that it can be built completely customized to your specifications/application, considering all variables to best match the application, production requirements, equipment budget, etc.

Press Advantages
The heavy, four-piece tie rod or unitized frame supplies a solid base to resist deflection and provide accurate stampings and longer die life.

Fast response hydraulic overload relieves the pressure of a tonnage overload in milliseconds, stopping the press immediately. Hydraulic pressure is restored with the press of a button. Normal operation is resumed after the press is inched to TDC. Your press and dies are effectively protected!
