1 Point Straight Side Presses (SC1 Series)

 

The Stamtec SC1 single crank frame press was designed for stamping small parts at high single stroking rates or in continuous mode, using either blanks or coil stock.

The design of the SC1 allows for easy adaptation of automation equipment.

This press is different from others in that the SC1 straight side press is priced economically like that of a gap frame press yet offers angular deflection characteristics more like a traditional straight side press.

Tonnage Range: 88-276

Press Advantages
The heavy, unitized frame supplies a solid base to resist deflection and provide accurate stampings and longer die life. A heavy, one-piece, fabricated steel frame is stress relieved.

More accurate stampings can be made because of lower angular deflection as compared to a gap press.

Fast response hydraulic overload relieves the pressure of a tonnage overload in milliseconds, stopping the press immediately. Hydraulic pressure is restored with the press of a button. Normal operation is resumed after the press is inched to TDC. Your press and dies are effectively protected!
