The 8268 rolls are designed to meet the requirements for longer CNC rolls featuring relatively tight radius bending. A welded steel frame and cast guides provide the necessary rigidity.
The concept of three rolls mounted independently in separate guides enables higher productivity and easy adjustment of the rolls. These function as pre-bending, bottom and finish bending rolls. The top roll is mounted above the middle roll making this machine a four-roll bender with symmetrically placed rolls. Lead screws move the three lower rolls. In order to control the bending result over the working length, the machine can be equipped with hydraulic crowning supports for the lower roll. Three support blocks with four pressure bearings are adjusted with a hand pump.
All four rolls are driven in order to prevent scratches on easily damaged sheets from slipping rolls.
The four-roll system eliminates the need for any intermediate handling of the sheet between pre-bending and the final bending. This ensures high repeating accuracy as well as high through- and output. The machine is equipped with the same CNC control system as for 8835 and 8344.

The principle of 4 roll bending – pre-bending and final bending in one operation
The sophisticated design of the machine and the location of the four rolls eliminate all intermediate handling of the sheet between pre-bending and final bending. The simplified process reduces buffer space around the machine, achieves a higher repeatability as well as higher productivity.
Clever Mechanics – fast and precise bends
The movement of the rolls into the programmed position is accomplished by precision ball screws. After bending is finished the lock clamp on the right hand side opens allowing removal of the profile. In order to reduce cycle time further, this function may be turned off in the control program.
Programming – quick and easy
The programming of the machine is facilitated by different menus available on the screen. In order to further simplify the programming, the control buttons are soft keys, whose functions are automatically changed when changing menus. The CNC has a storage capacity of 100 programs with up to 50 lines in each program. The program consists of sections, where each section is provided with a bending value. This enables easy and quick programming of the machine for different bending operations. The CNC model can also operate with "interpolation", where the rolls are adjusted simultaneously overlaying the feed motion.Straight outcomes – adjustable crowning
The rolls can be optionally equipped with hydraulic crowning supports, which are easily adjusted under the support rolls with a simple handpump. Thus the crowning support can be used for fine adjustments during production.Accessories and optional equipment
