Mac-Tech is proud to announce the appointment of James England as regional sales manager, of our Indianapolis office managing Central/Southern Indiana, Kentucky and Central/Southern Ohio.
Born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana, Jim grew up in a farming community with a strong understanding of what a good attitude and exceptional work ethic can lead to.
Starting in his younger teenage years working with his father’s trucking company and then in 1988 as an industrial millwright and steel fabricator; Jim came up through the industry as a hands-on millwright, steel fabricator and material handling solution provider.
After an unfortunate career ending injury, Jim put his fabrication knowledge and experience to use as a fabrication estimator in the heavy plate and structural fabrication, precision sheet metal and HVAC sheet metal industry. After many years in the fabrication and millwright industry, Jim uses his vast knowledge to successfully source machinery to customers looking for today’s best CNC machine tool technology.
In the early 90’s, Jim started his machine tool sales career with an Indianapolis based machine tool distributor. In 1995 he became the regional sales manager for a national leading CNC plasma table and sheet metal machinery manufacturing company. During his 20 year career with Vicon, Jim meticulously streamlined and collaborated working with clients on thousands of CNC machine tool transactions and installations. Over time, he has proven himself to be a very successful, and most importantly, a trusted professional in the machine tool industry today. Jim brings to the table a vast knowledge of machine tool specific applications. Along with this knowledge, Jim has successfully helped consult and source hundreds of different applications with the correct machine tool solution, thus making his customers extremely profitable.
In his spare time Jim enjoys hiking camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time in the woods with his family. His lifelong ambition is to build a log cabin someday deep in the woods and off grid.
